What Commercial Roofing Services Does CR Custom Exteriors Offer?

Quick answer

CR Custom Exteriors installs, replaces and repairs all common commercial roof systems — TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, silicone and acrylic coatings, commercial standing seam metal and steep-slope shingles — plus Butler® re-roof systems for metal buildings and low-slope roofs. We serve building owners, property managers and HOAs across the Front Range.

Commercial roofs on the Front Range take a beating: large hail, UV at altitude, heavy wet snow and rooftop equipment traffic. We help owners and managers choose the right system for the building and budget, then install it to manufacturer specification with minimal disruption to tenants and operations.

Commercial roof systems we install

  • TPO — reflective single-ply membrane with heat-welded seams; a cost-effective standard for low-slope buildings.
  • EPDM — durable rubber membrane with a long track record in freeze-thaw climates.
  • PVC — heat-welded membrane with strong chemical and grease resistance, ideal for restaurants and industrial roofs.
  • Modified bitumen & built-up roofing (BUR) — multi-ply systems for high-traffic roofs.
  • Roof coatings — silicone and acrylic restoration coatings that can extend the life of a sound roof at a fraction of replacement cost.
  • Commercial metal — standing seam and exposed-fastener metal roofs, repairs and retrofits.
  • Commercial shingle roofs — for HOAs, multifamily and mixed-use buildings, including Owens Corning, where we're a Preferred Contractor.

Butler® re-roof systems

For aging metal buildings and leaking flat roofs, we install Butler re-roof systems, including the Butler MR-24® standing seam roof. A re-roof can go over the existing roof on a subframing system, which can add positive slope to stop ponding, allows extra insulation, and often avoids a full tear-off that would disrupt the people inside the building.

Repairs, maintenance and hail

We offer leak repairs, inspections and maintenance, and after a storm we document hail and wind damage with photos and measurements for your carrier. Every project comes with a written, line-item proposal.

Commercial Roofing FAQs

What types of commercial roofs do you install?
We install TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, silicone and acrylic roof coatings, commercial standing seam and exposed-fastener metal, commercial shingle roofs, and Butler® re-roof systems.
What is a Butler re-roof system?
A Butler re-roof installs a Butler standing seam metal roof, such as the MR-24®, over an existing metal or low-slope roof using a subframing system. It can add slope to eliminate ponding, allow additional insulation and often avoids a full tear-off.
Should I repair, coat or replace my commercial roof?
If the roof deck and insulation are dry and the membrane is mostly sound, repair or a restoration coating can add years at a lower cost. Widespread wet insulation, failed seams or major hail damage usually call for replacement. We give you an honest assessment and written options.
TPO vs EPDM vs PVC: which is best?
TPO is a cost-effective, reflective choice for most buildings. EPDM is a durable rubber membrane with a long freeze-thaw track record. PVC is best where grease or chemicals are present. We recommend based on your building, use and budget.
Do you handle commercial hail damage insurance claims?
We inspect and document hail and wind damage with photos and measurements for your carrier and adjuster. We don't negotiate claims or guarantee approval, but we make sure the scope reflects what's actually on the roof.
Can you work around our business operations?
Yes. We schedule work phases, staging and noisy tasks to minimize disruption to tenants, customers and employees, and we keep the site clean and safe every day.
Do you provide proof of insurance for commercial projects?
Yes. We provide certificates of insurance and licensing documentation before work begins.
